This is a documentary film about multilingual education in Maningrida from 1992, when there were two bilingual programs operating in the school. It shows classes conducted in Ndjébbana, Burarra and English. It also visits schools in outstations, shows the Remote Aboriginal Teacher Education Program, the Literacy Production Centre, and community members encouraging kids to attend school, the regional linguist working with an older person on developing books and the ceremonial opening of the homeland school at Wurdeja. The voiceover is in English but some teaching sessions and incidental dialogue is in local languages. The music soundtrack includes Burarra songs by the Sunrize band. It was produced in 1992 by the Maningrida Community Education Centre Principal Chris Baldwin and released through Universal Entertainment Corporation, Sydney.
